Can The Lump Sensation In Throat Be A Result Of Acid Reflux And Bronchitis Shown On CT Scan?
I have had a feeling of a lump in my throat for over 6 months now i had chest x rays that showed nothing and a low dose ct scan that showed a mild case of bronchitis , i also had a scope down my throat and found nothing doctor thought it was acid reflux but took meds for that and nothing changed i just want to get rid of the feeling of this lump in my throat.....
Hi, Thanks for your query. Foreign body sensation in the throat can be due to upper respiratory tract mucosal inflammation like laryngitis, tracheitis or bronchitis. Considering a normal CT scan, there is nothing to worry. You may take a course of antibiotics and throat soothening agents for the same...
You must have told about other symptoms like cough, breathlessness, fever etc...
Best wishes
