Can The Baby Have Any Problem If I Have Typhoid In Pregnancy?

my period date was 14th november after 23rd november me and my husband had sex for continuously 3 days.. but after 26th i fell ill after a blood test i got to know that i m suffering from typhoid..so there any chances that i can get concevied and if i got conceived then it would any problem to baby???

As an obstetrician, I'd like to know your age please before I give a reply: the reason is very simple- if you are below 28, I'd suggest a medical MTP ( termination of pregnancy) ; treatment of typhoid requires antibiotics that are contraindicated in first few months of pregnancy. However if you are 30 plus, one has to think of the fact that chances of conceiving are less, hence we have to treat the disease differently.
