Can The Applicator Of Tampon Scratch And Cause Vaginal Bleeding And Pain ?

Hi, recently i ve had an incident where i ve tried to put in my tampon there is a slight pain. and when i removed it there was some vaginal bleeding . Could it be that the applicator scratched me or should i go see a doctor?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Mild amount of bleeding occuring while putting in a tampoon is just normal due to slight injury that might occur to vaginal mucosa in the process. You need not worry about this if this has happened for the first time. If it happens repeatedly then go for a pap smear.
