Can Tampon Usage Cause Any Problem In Pregnancy?

I found out my wife put in 2 tampons today for short periods of time for a little blood spotting while she is pregnant. She is about 2-3 weeks past her missed period. I told her that she should only do pads from now on. Is the 2 she used today a major threat to the baby?

Hello dear ,I understand your concern.In my opinion the usage of tampons might not cause any problem as it was for short period.But always avoid them as there will be risk of infection with them.The infections might lead to miscarriage,preterm labour etc.But for now dont worry.Relax.
