Can Taking Voltaren Help In Reducing Swelling After Arthroscopy?

Hi, I had an arthroscopy done a week and a half ago for a torn meniscus. Pain is great but swelling is bothering me with joint mobility. I have been elevating every night and where possible throughout the day but at this time of year it is difficult to rest! Would it help to take voltaren or similar for the swelling?

Regards,

Fiona

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that there is is some problem in allign ment of the structures in the knee.
I advise you to consult your doctor for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, ofloxacin, mefanamic acid, and paracetamol.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
