Can Taking Splenda Affect Thyroid?

i am a female, 57 years old, 5.0, 180 lbs. recently had 3 benign nodules removed from my thyroid (partial thyroidectamy). i am having difficulty regulating the meds, cytomel and cynthroid. i use splenda quite frequently and i recently heard that splenda can have an effct on my thyroid. do you know anything about this?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have gone through partial thyroidectomy.
So you need to take hormones supplement.
You should check your TSH level and set the dosage of cytomel and synthroid accordingly.

Splenda contains artificial sweeteners. It has no relation with your thyroid hormone levels.
