Hi

Dexpoten is a preparation of dextromethorphan + pseudoephedrine + triprolidine. Dextromethorphan is an opoiod and is usually abused in higher doses. Even in recommended doses of 300 to 1800 mg, it can be abused, though it is abused in much higher doses. Both dextromethorphan and its metabolite are concentrated in the brain with a very high ratio of brain to plasma. Thus it can cause many mental effects. The mental effects include euphoria, hallucinations and disorientation if taken excessively.

Thus I will recommend that you discontinue this medicine use.

Regards
