Can Taking Clexane Be Safe For Subchorionic Hematoma?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...
Dear Doctor I am 7 weeks pregnant after 2 miscarriages.I have some light spotting as 10 days ago was diagnosed with subchorionic hematoma, a small one which the last scan failed to find, I.e. it had been reabsorbed.I did not have any spotting for a few days so doctors put me back on Clexane, which I was taking before the hematoma bleed. After 2 days on Clexane 40 mg a day I have started to spot again .Should I continue with the Clexane?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
You are 7 weeks pregnant, having history of two abortions in past.
The abortions at this stage of pregnancy are mostly due to less hormones ,which support maintenance of pregnancy. which need to be replaced.
Clexane is a heparin preparation. Though it is not harmful in pregnancy, I don't think you need to take it at present, unless you are already taking it for other indication.
I would advice you to consult an expert gynecologist , & start with hormones with bed rest & other medicines for specific or routine pregnancy care.
Thanks.
