My son has very swollen tonsils. He is 5 years old and has always had big tonsils. The problem that he is having now is, He cannot sleep well at night and snores very loudly. He just now came to me and had blood coming out of his mouth. It has stopped, but it seems that it is coming from the left tonsil. Should I bring him to the E.R. or could I wait to see his E.N.T tomorrow? Thanks,Kara
Hi, thanks for the query. If bleeding come just with saliva & less in quantity then give him ice cream or ice cube. You can wait to see his ENT tommorrow. If bleeding is profuse & come as bright red go to E.R. Hope this information helpful to you, take care and have a nice day.
