Can Surgically Treated Lymphoma Or A History Of Osteoporosis Caused Compression Fractures Lead To Pain Below The Ribs?
I have had about 3 compression fractures in the last 6 yrs. and have osteoporosis, and had bone cement put in a couple fractures. But I had a small fall a couple of wks. ago and even before this have had pain or spasms on my left side under my ribs, and now is moving up towards chest bone. My doctor thinks it is from damaged nerves when I had cancer 6 yrs. ago in my lung and had part removed with lymphoma.
Lymphoma patient's are more prone to compression fracture very much. I think what your doctor told may be correct. It may be due to damaged nerves. Are you currently undergoing any treatments for your condition. This compression fractures can also lead to pain below the ribs.
Wish you speedy recovery,
Thank you
