Can Surgical Abortion Be Done When On Amoxicillin For UTI Treatment?
Hi, I m scheduled for a surgical abortion in the next 48 hours and I have a UTI which I started to take antibiotics since Saturday, i got an allergic reaction from Microbid and now i am on Amoxicillin since yesterday. Is it safe to proceed with the surgery?

As long as you are taking your amoxicillin as instructed, there is no reason you need to reschedule your termination. Some providers give you antibiotics during the procedure, or a prescription to go home with, which you should take in addition to the medicine prescribed for your UTI.
