It started with muscle tension in my face and jaws. And then I noticed the top of head being sore. The next day, I woke up to my head feeling cold and then it progressed to pins and needles on my scalp. Now my neck and shoulders feel very tense and I can feel pins and needles throughout my body. This all happened after being sick with the flu, bronchitis and a sinus infection for weeks, throughout which I was pretty stressed out. Could my current muscle tension/pins and needles be due to stress/

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you have stress related pains. Stress can cause decreased pain threshold. It can cause muscles to tense. I think your present situation may be due to your anxiety. You should reduce your anxiety level. For this you can anxiolytics such as alprazolam. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. I hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your query.
Wishing you good health. Take care.
