Can Stress Cause Loss Of Sleep?

I have been going through some personal issues in my rel'ship, the result over the past 4-5 days is lack of sleep, tightness & heaviness in the chest and a feeling of shortness in breath like i am not breathing clearly, i need to take deep breathes. Is this due to my issues and how can i get better. it makes me very nervous and shaky.

Hello
I think your relationship issues are causing problems of insomnia and nervousness and anxiety.

The best treatment would to try to get over this issues asap.

Drugs like klonopin (prescription drug) can help in intense anxiety and insomnia.

Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation to keep yourself calm.

Engage yourself in some hobbies like cooking, reading painting etc. Donot isolate yourself.

Thanks
