Can Stenosis And Arthritis Causes Sore Throat And Pain In Neck, Back?

I have had a sore throat for three weeks, pounding pulse in both sides of my neck and a headache most of the time. I am diabetic and have good control with insulin, I also have severe stenosis and arthritis of the spine. I had four vertebrae fused 5 years ago. This sore throat and pounding pulse with headache has been a recent development. I had 5 epidurals this fall both in my neck and lower spine. Should I be concerned?

I think that your sore throat and pounding pulse are not related to each other and both are different entity. Sore throat is due to infection of the respiratory tract so it is mostly viral infection. It needs to be treated with hot gargles and antibiotic to prevent bacterial involvement.
Pounding pulse and headache can be due to cervical spondylitis and it has to be taken care of with soft cervical collar, intermittent cervical traction exercises and also with tablet Pregabalin and Methylcobal. Also remember then it can be migraine also so if pain worsened over time then take a neurologists opinion.
