Can Someone Still Be Pregnant After Taking Postinor 2 ?
hellow doctor, i took postinor 2 on 15th Oct after having unprotected sex on 13th, my periods often begins in the first week of each month , i have been having some stomach pain like am in my periods. What could probably be wrong with me. am i pregnant

Postinor 2 is very effective in avoiding pregnancy. After unprotected sex the earlier you take these pills more effective it is. It is 95% effective if taken within 24 hours of unprotected sex.
Postinor 2 can sometimes delay the period. Since you are getting stomach pain like while in periods, you may start your period in a day or two. But if your period gets delayed by more than a week, then you must do the pregnancy test. In such a scenario, there is a small possibility of pregnancy due to method failure.
To avoid such unnecessary stress I advise you to consult your doctor and start regular contraception like hormonal contraception or have an intrauterine devise fitted as they are more effective than i pill in preventing pregnancy.
