Yes, it happens a lot. Heart attacks can be "classic" with chest pain that radiates to the left arm. Or, often they can be mistaken for indigestion or heart burn, or multiple other symptoms. There are also "silent" heart attacks that nothing is ever felt. This is especially common in people with diabetes, as some of the impulses that are transmitted through their nerves don't trigger.
