Can Smoking Weed Cause Severe Sinus Infection?

my husband has a severe sinus infection that he is currently taking augmenton, advil cold and sinus, depecote in the morning and augmenton, advil cold and sinus, and seroqul. my question is this, he refuses to stop smoking weed. everytime he smokes it, shortly after he has severe pain and some sort of sweating reaction that he insists is not related to the weed. Can you tell me if I am right in assuming that the marijuana is the cause?

Hi,

If the symptoms occur every time after he smokes weed, then there is no doubt that weed is to blame. Try to convince him to stay off weed for a day or two in order to confirm this. It also appears that he is on medication for some mental illness. If so, weed is likely to worsen his mental illness as well.

Best wishes.
