Hi;

welcome to HealthcareMagic

Alopecia aerata is a auto immune disease & is triggered by some factor which disturbs immunity of a person.It is difficult to treat & also takes time.Smoking directly does not cause alopecia but yes active or passive smoking does disturb body defence & health of a person so it is better avoided.

Thanks
