Can Sizodon LS Be Taken Instead Of Sizodon MD?

Hello ,

I am taking sizodon MD ! for almost 4yrs and of late I have started taking sizodon LS instead of the former one .



Kindly let me know whether I can keep taking the medicine (sizidon LS ) for indefinite period .

both differs in combination.
Sizodon MD contains only risperidone and is a modified release tablet that acts faster and gets metabolized faster.
Sizodon LS also contain trihexphenydil, an anti cholenergic drug along with risperidone that will ameliorate the side effects of sizodon.
So, i would advice you to go with sizodon LS.
