Can Sitting On Cold Ground Hurt One S Internal Organs?
can sitting on cold ground hurt your insides. i told my granddaughters that i had heard that it can harm your kidneys & they laughed at me. they are 11, 12 & 13. one is very healthy, one has crohns & the other is being tested for stomach problems (possibly gerd)

Definitely no! sitting on the grown will not hurt the internal organs. If the internal body parts feel cold, blood supply to the periphery will be reduced so as to conserve heat for the internal organs.
However, prolong sitting on cold ground will favor reduced blood supply and thus ischemic lesions would appear on the parts that have been on the ground for a prolonged period and can even lead to sores.
