Hi, I am a 40 year old male. I suffered from an episode of vertigo 45 days ago and then again 30 days ago. The doctor prescribed Betaserc. Although symtome of severe dizziness have subsided I stll feel dizzy and nauseous on most days. the brain MRI is clear expect that it indicates blilateral ethmoidal sinusitis. Could this be the reason for my persisting dizziness and nausea. I would really appreciate a response as it has severely impaired my ability to work. If this is what might be causing it, please also let me know what I can do to alleviate this problem. Thank you
hi, the first concern is on your recurrent vertigo with nausea. At the age of 40 active life how is your food habits. missing any meals may cause gastritis-nausea and dizzy feeling. at the age of 40 - the new occurrence of Hypertension Diabetes has to be ruled out. secondly, the ethmoidal sinusitis mostly because of nasal allery causing nasal stuffiness and cold like symptoms with nausea and dizziness. if you correct the nasal allergy there may not be further symptom. Get checked by family physician first.take care
