Can Same Blood Type Of Parents Cause Jaundice In The Kids?
Hi my child is 3 mos old and has jaundice..But it's becoming lighter now. When he was 2 mos old his bilirubin level is at 19, we'll have him check again this weekend. Would it be just normal for infants? My blood type and that of my husband is the same. Hope you can give me answers. Thanks

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Yes, ABO incompatibility is a well known cause for jaundice in new born period. It happens when mother's group is O and baby's is A or B.
