Can Rise In BP, Cause Lightheadedness With Heaviness In Body?

When I first got into work today, I was putting something away and I felt a sudden feeling of light headedness, and my body felt super heavy so I took a seat hoping for it to go away and it did. I don t know if it was blood pressure or not but it was a very random, weird feeling I ve never had.

Welcome to healthcaremagic,
Lightheadedness, giddiness are symptoms which may be due to high blood pressure. There are some other conditions which may cause similar problems like low blood sugar levels, but high blood pressure is a very common reason.
So I suggest you to get your blood pressure checked at the next opportunity and start your medications if it is high.
Normal blood pressure for adults is less than 140 over 90.
Hope that answers you question.
Regards, Dr.Ismail
