Hi, one of my testicle went up my lower stomach and I had surgery and the doctors brought placed it back. My urologist told me that because it moved now it is not active is it true ?? and if it is, would it impair my sperm count for impregnating ?
Hi. Thanks for your short and specific history. Since your history says that one of your testicle went up in the lower stomach and was brought back, it means that it was in the scrotal sac. Testicle of the normal size if retractile can cause such retraction but usually functions well, hence it is difficult to say whether this procedure can cause low sperm count. If it is done meticulously, there will be no change in sperm count. The best way is to get the semen analysis done. Get color doppler and ultrasonography done to get an additional idea.
