yes they are some of the main causes of such diseases and so these diseases are known as industrial and occupational diseases, long term exposure are fetal and even short term exposure cause development of treatable symptoms.so there are guidelines and safety measures for working in these conditions which can prevent disease to workers to a great extent, so just follow them.. there are govt guidelines available and all the safety suites are provided free or in nominal charge
