Can Repeated Dosages Of Metaprolol Be Taken For Pain In Chest And Back?

I have a heart condition and have a spray pump and take metaprolol and colesterol tablets yesterday i was in alot of pain in my chest and in my back behind my breast and i was very scared so i took another metaprolol which are 50mg and used my spray a few times, it seems to have started again its like something is lodged tight in my chest and back. Is it ok to take another metaprolol.

I really appreciate your concern, such pain may not be due to cardiac condition and may be due to something else more over the medicine that you use may not subsides the pain, some time such pain could be due to hyperacidity, in my opinion better to get done the EKG test, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
