Can Polyp Removal In Uterus Hinder Pregnancy?

i had 3 miscarriages and upon some tests found a polyp in my uterus. it was removed and we wanted to try to pregnant and i have not been able to conceive. However all the other pregnancies (miscarriages included) i had no trouble conceiving. Did the removal of the polyp change something?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

If anything, the polyp removal will help in sustaining the fetus. The wall of the uterus which previously consisted of the polyp would have caused various implantation and growth hinderances. Check with your doctor for an elaborate evaluation to make sure you are ready to start and try to conceive. I am sure this is something simple and nothing related to surgery.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
