General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I understand your concern.

Yes, it is safe to use paracetamol or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) while taking Clarithromycine. These drugs families do not interact with each other. You could use Paracetamol, ibuprofen, ketoprofen or naproxen.
These NSAIDs will help you reduce the swelling and inflammation beside the analgesic (pain reducer) effect.
As your doctor recommended, you have to use the Clarythromycine twice a day for 7 to 10, and you could use the NSAID whenever you have pain, but not more often than every 6 hours.

Hope I answered to your question. Wishing you good health.

Kind Regards,
Dr. Ina
