Can Pain In Gall Bladder Indicate Cancer?

I have recently been in hospital with pain in my gall bladder. I was found to have several stones and a bulky duct. I am booked to have a MRI to examine the duct. I am irrationally worrying I have Cancer!! I was also sent for a liver function test that came back borderline. What does this mean? I rarely drink etc I am not over weight etc

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query. in most cases such pain is caused by gallbladder stones but igallblader should be removed since stones in gb increase risk of gallbladdwer cancerWish you good health. Regards
