Hi my 3 year old son weighs 32 lbs, started Cefdinir last night for double ear infection. As well as ear drops. And Cipro eye drops for eye infection. My concern is, I accidentally gave a 3rd dose of the Cefdinir order is 2 times a day. I am use to given three doses of antibiotics given before

there is no problem if you gave an extra single dose of cephalosporin group of drugs. cephalosporin group of drugs have least side effects with wide range of safe dose amount.
