Can Osteopenia Be The Cause Of Dislocation Of Thumb Shown On X Ray?

I was having trouble with my lift wrist. I went to the doctor ,after X-ray the result was my thumb is disconnected. He recommended a orthopedic.Surgeon to set and cast it. Is this typical of ostiopina to have joint dislocation? Thanks for your help YYYY@YYYY

Hi there.
I dont think osteopenia can cause joint dislocation without any injury.
There has to be some precipitating factor like arthritis or injury to cause the dislocation.
In any case you need to get it reduced and fixed by some orthopaedician as soon as possible.
