Hi.. Thanks for the query. Oral sex can cause infection in mouth and throat leading to sore throat, mucous, cough and discolouration of mouth and palate.. If the tongue is coated white then it can be due to yeast infection causing Oral Thrush.. So my suggestion is to first of all consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.. An oral and throat swab culture can be done to rule out the exact nature of the infection and can be treated accordingly.. As of now you can start gargling with warm saline solution.. You can also take a combination of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen.. Take cough expectorant like Gueifenesin. Clean your tongue using tongue cleaner.. Drink plenty of warm water and avoid spicy foods..
