Can One Have Pregnancy Symptoms Early In The Cycle?
HI I wanted to ask a question as I am unsure if its a possibility. Im 5 feet tall and 180lbs, due to after having my daughter 4 years ago and the birth control I went on to not get preganant right away. My husband and I have been trying to concieve again for 2 year, Found out my husband had testicular cancer had that taken care of we are wating to see if hes 100% ok now. In the mean time Ive had regular cycles and shortly after my cycle I was noiticing i was feeling sick at some point every day, neausa and cramping and now Im on day 19 of my cycle and still having the neasea. im still about 10ish days from my cycle but was wondering if I could have concieved again as the neausa isnt subsiding and even if it goes away at times in the day its usually lingering most of the time. I havent tested yet as I didnt test with my daughter until I missed my cycle. Is there something else going on or could it be a pregnancy this eary into my cycle.
Hi, You cannot conceive until and unless you have ovulated. Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. So, these symptoms are unlikely to be due to pregnancy. You need to rule out hormonal imbalance as excess estrogen or progesterone may cause such symptoms. If you wish anyway to exclude/confirm pregnancy, you can go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres a week prior to the next cycle. This is the earliest and best possible way to find out. Hope this helps.
