Can One Get Pregnant At An Older Age?

Hi i am 47 years old now + have three children aged 8 14 + 20, i have only ever been with one man, my husband, now we would have loved a big family, but it didn't happen as i had a couple of misses along the way, but now as im getting older I am now getting worried because ive never taking or had any kind of contraception and dont want to start now, also ive had a six year gap with each child, so im wondering is there a reason for only concieving in a pattern like this and would i be likey to concieve at my age now, or am i safe now.................... Many Thanks .... Pauline Hatton...

Hello dear,,I understand your concern. In my opinion if ovulation is occurring normally you might try for natural pregnancy. But at 47 years ovulation might be irregular .So you can try artificial reproductive techniques. These can be done by even donor eggs. But madam success rate might vary.
