Can No Period And Sore Breast Be Symptoms Of Perimenopause?

I am 46 years old and had uterine ablation about 3 years ago. My periods were much lighter but continued to be regular at about 26 days. I am currently at day 35 and no period but have had sore breasts which is pretty typical. Took two pregnancy tests which were both negative. Could I be entering perimenopause and really what are the chances of me becoming pregnant considering my age and ablation? I should add I have been under a lot of stress as well. Help! Thank you

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. In my opinion it is quiet common to have irregular periods in that age of 46 as these are the premenopausal symptoms you may also get hot flushes in future. As you have done pregnancy test then no need to worry about pregnancy as chances are very less after ablation and at the age you are in. I suggest you to repeat the home pregnancy test once again and if it is negative then nothing to worry. If you are still in a doubt you can go for ultrasound abdomen to rule out that. Thank you.
