I have sever itching on one specific area of the sole of my bottom right foot for over a year.

Damage to the nerve ending will cause numbness or reduced sensation in a particular part.If there is itching there can be a infection either fungal bacterial;or scabies or may be due to dryness of skin or cracked skin.Better consult a doctor close by for examination & then treatment.
