Can Muscles Around The Heart Cause Heart Pain?

Are there muscles around your heart that cause you to have heart pains? I went to the doctor and got checked out. He said I have a healthy heart but something about the muscles around it. I have to go back in a month. What is wrong with me? Sometimes I get shortness of breath almost like I m having a panic attack

Hi welcome to HCM...

You have no cardiac problem....
So you might be investigated with EKG and blood pressure measurement. ...

Here your auscultation done to look for if any abnormality suspected about respi problem....
If examination suspicious of respi problem than chest x ray needs to be done ...

If no cardiac or respi problem present than yes musculoskeletal pain could be there .
For which ibuprofen tablet 200 mg BD useful...along with hot compress.....

If you are taking excess stress than panic attack can lead to chest pain...
So try to avoid stress and if needed psychiatric counselling can be taken....
