Can missed period be a sign of pregnancy ?

OK so i have been looking for my period for about two weeks now. I am sexually active and about a week ago I had sex with my husband. we used a condom but it fell off inside of me. i took a first response test on tuesday and it was negative. but i still have no period and it has reached the end of the normal cycle and still nothing. there is a slight twist to the situation. when i was checking my cervix for a trace of bleeding i found bumps on my cervix with a slight brown discharge. i have made a appointment for to see the nurse practitioner on monday but i am just wanting to see what i could find out before then and what questions i need to have. any thoughts

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
If your home pregnancy test is negative then there is nothing to worry. The delay in your periods is due to mild hormonal imbalance. Just wait for a few more days and watch. If still there are no periods then you need hormonal treatment.
