Yes misoprostol can cause abortion at home but it is illegal if you are in india.
Never use it without consulting the gynecologist, as it causes incomplete abortion and excessive bleeding.

Medical abortion by mifepristone and misoprostol can used up to 9 week of pregnancy.Before using pill Intrauterine pregnancy should be confirmed by trans vaginal USG.

So bleeding and clots is normal after using pills , it suggests abortion is started as it cause contraction of uterus.
Minor bleeding and cramps may be there for 4-6 days
But excessive bleeding after 7 days of using pills suggests incomplete abortion.
Follow up USG by gynecologist must be needed after week to confirm the incomplete abortion
Also check for foul vaginal discharge to prevent vaginal infections.
Use safer sex practice to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
