Can Miralax Be Given To A Child For Abdominal Pain?

Hi my daughter is 9 years old. she is 80 pounds and about 48 inches tall. She has been suffering for several months with stomach pain. It is a dull ache or sharp pain in the top part of her stomach. She also feels like she is going to throw up all the time. She even says she can feel it coming up her throat. We have took her to a doctor and they gave her a sonogram checking her for appendicitis. Her appendix was fine so they said she was probably constipated. We have given her Miralax and she does go to the restroom once or twice a day. Although even without the Miralax she never really had hard stools. They have always been watery or soft. So it makes me wonder if it is really constipation. She complains about it almost every day, and she just seems miserable. I don t know what to do because I feel if I take her back to the doctor they are just going to say it is constipation. Is there anything else it could be?
