Can Migraines Be Related To Depression?

I am 36yrs old 5 ft 2 suffer from migraines and had post natal and clinical depression about 7 yrs ago. I started micronor (norethisterone) about 2 months ago i was previously on Logynon but due to suffering migraines i was taken off it due to the high levels of estroegen. the last 2 months i have had a period however this month is was due 2 days ago and nothing, i have had some period pain but very tender breasts this month around, i have 2 beautiful boys and dont want anymore children i know we have been safe but i am on the presumption that when you get a period it confirms that you've been safe now with no period i am stressing out.

Yes, there is a relation between migraine and depression. There is some overlap in the genetic inheritance. Migraine is considered by many experts to be a Mood Spectrum Disorder.
About your worry that you might get pregnant, sometimes periods may get delayed. But it best is to simply buy a pregnancy test (easily available in all medical shops/pharmacies) and test for yourself.
Given your migraine and history of depression, you may try some other method for contraception in future.
Hope this answers your question.
