Can Methylprednosilone Cause Pain In Legs?

I have been taking methylprednosilone for 3 days now for severe cedar allergies. I woke up this morning and could barely walk. I fell down twice at home and once at my business. The third fall was the worst as I landed on my right shoulder. My legs feel so sore almost like they are paralyzed. My shoulder now is the worst. It hurts to move/raise it. What should I do? Is the pain in my legs related to the methylprednosilone ?

Hi,

Yes methylprednisolone if used for prolong time may cause of one of the many reasons of edema and soreness in some patients. You need to get physical examination by your doctor.

You should also get x-ray lumbo-sacral spine in AP and Lateral view done.

If needed your doctor may advise you some blood tests.

Now time has come that you should immediately consult your treating doctor.

Thanks.
