Can Methamphetamine Abuse Be Related To LBBB?

My boyfriend was admitted to the hospital today for testing. He had been violently vomiting about 2-3 days for the last month. Today he started having tightness and chest pain. The dr explained he has LBBB. My question is can meth abuse be related to lbbb. Heart disease dosesnt run in his family

Yes. LBBB is part of the heart's electrical system is shorted out (the left bundle). This often occurs from part of the heart being dead after a heart attack. This can occur from methamphetamine. An echo to see if part of the heart doesn't move or a dye study to show part doesn't get blood or catheterization to shoot dye into all the circulation of the heart can confirm this.
