Can Losartan Cause The Fibromyalgia Symptoms?
I currently take losartan for high blood pressure. I also have fibromyalgia. I am wondering if the losartan could be causing the fibromyalgia symptoms. and if it is safe to stop taking losartan. I never had fibromyalgia symptoms until I began taking blood pressure medications about 7 years ago.

It is unlikley that Losartan would cuase such symptoms. But i assume , you migjt be taking Statins , like Atorvastatin / Rosuvastatin , as you must be hypertensive. The statins can actually and frequent cause fibromyalgia like symptoms.
Check out your prescription.
