Can Long Term Use Of Eption 100mg Be Stopped Due To CT Scan Showing No Abnormality In Brain?

At the age of 21 I suffered from neurocysticercosis later on fully recovered almost last 20 year any seizure or any kind of problem , but still taking Eption 100 MG one Tablet only every night, please suggest can I stop it immediately , in latest CT Scan no any abnormality observed in Brain.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

So if I understand you correctly you have been without a seizure for 20 years now and the latest scan showed no abnormality.
It would've been preferable if you had an MRI instead of a CT scan, it is a more reliable exam. That being said though 20 years without seizures is a long time. Generally it is attempted to withdraw medication if a patient is without seizures for 5 years. Furthermore only 1 tablet a day is too low a dose, I wonder if it is providing any protection at all.

So I would advise to stop it, of course after discussing it with you physician as well.
