Can Long Term Usage Of Vytorin Cause Diarrhea?
My husband has been on vytorin for 8 years. Last year around the end of September he got diarrhea and to this day still has it in the am everyday. He had colonoscopy 2x. They tested his blood, his stool, his fat content in diarrhea. The can not find anything wrong with him. I am wondering of the vytorin could be causing this. What's your advice?

If your husband is having diarrhea then the medicine he is taking "Vytorin" may not be reason, but this could be due to some infection, culture sensitivity of stool is must, even the frequency of stool would be matter here, because 3 to 4 stool in day could be normal one without any clinical sign and symptoms, most of the diarrhea are self limiting until and unless proved some infection or allergic condition, in my opinion "lactobacillus strength can be tried" hope this information helps, take care.
