Can Lisinopril And Estrogen Taken For High BP And Bladder Spasms Lead To Pink Discharge?

I have noticed a pink sediment in the toilet. This does not go away after flushing. This appears even after cleaning the toilet. I was put on Lisinopril for high blood pressure although my ratio was elevated they thought it was due to the high bp. My high bp resolved and I am off lisinopril. I have chronic bladder spasms but they seem to resolve with my new estrogen patch. I have had a total hyst with bso for stage one uterine ca 7 years ago.

I understand your concerns. Pink discharge is likely due to small amount of blood in the urine or urine mixed with pinkish vaginal dischrge due to presence of small amount of blood. Estrogen may cause pinkish discharge. Lisinopril has nothing to do with it. Routine and microscopical examination of urine and vaginal discharge may help detection of exact cause. infection locally may also lead to your problem. Since you were operated for CA Cervix, you should consult your gynaecologist for inspection of the local site with appropriate cytological examination for recurrence.
