Can Laser Surgery Improve Vision?

my eleven year daughter has both cylindricl no -1.25 in both eye and spherical no -.75 in both eyes. is the no. increases with age? she has undergone eye squint surgery two years back. after that she has detected with eye vision problems. is this is the side effect of surgery. how can i improve the eye vision of my daughter.can anyone can undergo laser surgery with both cylinderical and spherical no.

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter has undergone squint surgery.
Refractive error is not a side effect of squint surgery. Refractive error will be pre existing and it has to be treated by refraction and correction and use of appropriate spectacles.
Once she reaches 18 years she can undergo refractive laser surgery.
Refractive laser surgery can correct up to 10 dioptres of spherical power and 4 dioptres of cylindrical power. Hence she can undergo laser surgery after she reaches 18 years.
