Can Intake Of Champix Cause Hcg And False Pregnancy Results?

Hi I started to take champix to stop smoking and after only starting the tablets iv took 3 tablets and found out I am pregnant so I stopped taking them.. Iv tested 6 times in the space of 4 days and they have all came back positive but I m very unsure... Can champix cause hCG and false pregnancy results?

its varenicline tartarate. Common side effects of Champix include feeling sick (nausea), difficulty sleeping, headache and changes in dreams. Around 3 in 10 people feel sick while taking Champix and it often goes away after a few days.
but under no circumstances it can cause HCG levels to rise. hcg is produced by the trophoblasts of the embryo. so it is sure that you are pregnant and its not a false pregnancy . it can be further confirmed by a transvaginal ultrasound. nextly, the safety of champix is not established yet in pregnancy but it is advisable not to continue either champix or smoking during pregnancy. if you have taken 3 tabs already, the dosage is too less to cause any defect in the embryo, so rest assured.
