Can Intake Of Primolut To Postpone Periods Cause Missed Periods?

Hi. I had taken primolut for 6 6th Jan-11 Jan) days to delay periods in January2015 on account of my marriage my period came on 14th Jan. It s been over 40 days now n still no period n pregnancy is negative. Pls advice if it s side effect of primolut!

I appreciate your concern for the delayed periods following Primolut.

Usually once you stop taking Primolut, the withdrawal bleeding occurs that is what happened to you on January 14th 2015.

In view of the negative pregnancy test even after 40 days, lack of menses could be due to hormonal imbalance.
Visit your gynec doctor for further evaluation.
